I'm a Minivan Mom

Well, here's the good news! I hope that you enjoy the pics since I took them out in the rain:)
We finally moved our family into a minivan yesterday. It's a 2001 Toyota Sienna CE. We are enjoying all the room it offers. I'm not used to being up so high while I drive, but I'm sure I'll "suffer" through it! Yippee:)

YAY - welcome to Minivan World! We just traded in our Town & Country for an Odyssey when Jill was born, and love it. Siennas are great - my friend has one and loves hers. Congratulations, and enjoy being able to see past the bumper of the car in front of you! ;)

Also, Joy, you're turning down a FREE minivan???? Are you kidding??? I know you only have one kid, but hey. You're violating my first rule of frugality which is "Accept free gifts no matter whether you need them or not, especially if they are worth over $1000."

Wow, a free minivan! Joy, I'd seriously consider. Free doesn't come along everyday :)

Steph, my dream minivan is the Odyssey, but no way to find a way into one right now without ending up on the street ;) I'm happy with my second choice thought!

(Chanting) Minivan, minivan... Joy, we've been a one vehicle family for 10 years now and have had 2 cars during that time. First a 1994 Toyota Tercel which I only fit in the drivers seat, so I was THE driver for until 1998 we got our 1995 Chrystler Concorde. I was planning on holding out for the minivan until after Michael graduates this summer, but the car was getting expensive to repair vs. it's value. Enjoy your little car as long as you like:) You will not be discriminated based upon your vehicle status ;)
