The Many Faces of Emily

Emily thinks that this is the best way to pose for pictures lately.

Emily and her crown of crafting peanuts. These are pretty easy to use. Just wet and stick together. The kids think it's fun to desolve their art down the sink when they are finished too.

She's trying not to smile here.

Belle's favorite moves

Belle is a mover. She likes to hold herself up on the hands and feet. Sometimes it looks like she's trying to get up and walk. She is fun to watch, so I had to take some pictures. She's about 5 1/2 months in these pics.

She's a pro on her hands and knees and has been getting herself all over the livingroom for the past month. She doesn't really crawl forward more than one arm and leg, but she can crawl backwards on hands and knees:) She's quite agile and confident.

Spring Snow

Yesterday was the first day of Spring and today we woke up to snow. Iowa appearently did not get the memo about the change of season! Emily loved playing in it today. An 18 degree wind chill is no longer too cold to play in for an hour.

Look ma, no gloves! His coat is too small, his snow pants are more like cropped pants, and no snow boots, just tennies. This did not slow him as he waded through knee deep snow drifts. See his red bike flag? It looks like he's made it to Mount Everest:)

Emily and dad still working in the snow. Mommy and Belle enjoyed staying inside together. We made hot chocolate for the snow bunnies, snow angels, snow monsters, etc. Snow is FUN!
